This Budweiser outdoor advertising campaign was produced years ago, when I was at DMB&B in St. Louis. It included executions that ran nationally, as well as others created for specific regions or states.
For example, “The Beer for ME” ran in Maine, “Available in Kans” ran in Kansas, and “Conserve Water” ran only in drought-stricken southern California. Executions were changed out every couple of weeks, or even more regularly in some areas (such as along August Busch’s helicopter flight path, assuming the stories are true).
The campaign was extremely popular at the time, and won several advertising awards, including an Obie Award from the Outdoor Advertising Association of America.
